PANTHERE
Elegant black and white panthers play hide-and-seek with shadow and light. We can discern their silhouettes and their soft, velvety touch on a vase. Subtly spotted, the panther’s ferocious fur adorns blown crystal, fashioned with a meticulous satin-brushed-polished finish, a technique mastered by Lalique’s talented craftspeople.
TIGRE
Through the incredible magic of blown crystal, lines interweave and the Zebra Vase breathes life into a powerful tiger. This jungle genius' flowing fur rushes for the light. The coats of Lalique's tigers, featuring amber, as well as a duo of limited editions enamelled with black or ultra-golden lines, merge and become one with the decor.
SERPENT
Coiled up corolla like, much as when he falls asleep among the tropical branches of his forest home, this python is king of camouflage. The massive and immobile body of this reptile becomes a sculpted bowl creating a never-ending circle. Its skin, evoking wood, unveils a myriad of plant-like hues, clear, black, amber, and a limited-edition amazon green.
CROCO
Crocodile skin reveals its graphic and sculptural power. Lalique showcases the reptile’s scales with stunning realism through a crystal technique tour de force, imagining a fantastic texture that invites the touch. The powerful animal, at one with its environment, is camouflaged in Amazon green.
TIMBAVATI LIONESS
Muscles tense, gaze alert, senses sharp. The ready-to-pounce lioness sculpture focuses on its savage instincts in precious gold luster and clear dazzling crystal. It’s the tale of two sisters. One glints with golden hues, the other boasting a pure-white coat, both bearing the name Timbavati, a tribute to the South African reserve where rare white lions may be found in the wild. Living treasure, unrivalled in the world.
BARN OWL
Lalique captures in crystal the crucial pre-attack moment. With its talons stretched out, the barn owl rips through the air. In flight, this raptor is so silent that its prey is easily caught. Animal strength shines, a medley of amber, bronze and clear, with outstanding attention to detail the spread wings, delicately infused with filigree.
GRAND-DUC
The stately Great horned owl, with its thick plumage and soft down, warms and embraces with softness. Crafted in textured clear crystal, big or small, this votive inspired by the nocturnal bird diffuses a shimmering, soothing light.
FOURRURE
A thick mane envelopes impressive crystal. The Fur bowl, previously a polar bear created during chapter 1 of the collection, transforms into the fierce king of the African plains. Vibrant and warm, rounded and glowing in amber, the Fur bowl becomes a Lion; roaring with beauty.
